Julia Coyte, CHom

I am a certified homeopath through Homeopathy School International and just recently earned a Bachelor of Science in Homeopathy through CHE/Middlesex University, England.
I became absolutely obsessed with homeopathy a few years ago after experiencing an amazing improvement in my health, just a few weeks after beginning work with a homeopath. At that time, I stopped everything I was doing and began to study this marvelous system of medicine.
There simply aren't enough hours in the day to devote to studying homeopathy. I have been at it, pretty much full time, for 5-1/2 years and I feel like I am still just scratching the surface.
The history of homeopathy, the rubrics in the repertory, the Materia Medica, the provings, the theories, Hahnemann and the Organon, the Banerji Protocols (and the reasoning behind them), the anatomy/physiology/pathology, sarcodes and nosodes (the bowel nosodes!), miasms, the good, solid research behind homeopathy, the cell salts, the organ remedies, agrohomeopathy, veterinary homeopathy, the new methods of thinking about homeopathy… see? There truly are not enough hours in the day to devote to this passion of mine.
There are many ways to address physical or mental & emotional issues through homeopathy other than "just classical" homeopathy. Don't get me wrong, I think classical homeopathy is amazingly powerful. But by limiting homeopathic practice to this one modality, we, as homeopaths, are doing a great disservice to our clients.
I believe it is important to meet people where they are and I adjust my homeopathic consulting modalities accordingly. Some people are ready for a deep dive looking for their constitutional remedy. Others are kind of interested but really just want their knee pain to be lessened. Still, others just want a quick fix for their recent injury. It is not my job to foist just one method of homeopathy on all interested parties. It is my job to discern what each client needs and wants and call on my knowledge to help them.
If you are interested in working with me, please check out my website classicallypractical.com.
I look forward to hearing from you!
